Projects at Moondance Studio
Moondance
Studio is located in Moondance Estates, minutes away from Santa
Cruz in the hills above Soquel. With beautiful gardens and a view of
the magnificent Monterey Bay, Moondance offers Gary, Chansonette and
their family a perfect and natural creative stimulant for all of the
musicians in our family.
We are currently
working on several projects, including two CD productions for Chansonette.

Practice
Room
Rate: $20/hr, 2 hour minimum. Available 7 days a week, by appointment
only.
Cancellation
Information: We
take studio reservations seriously and your reservation constitutes
a contract. If you wish to cancel or reduce the amount of studio
time you have reserved, we require 48 hours prior notification
(excluding Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays). A client who does
not notify us at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled session
start will be subject to a 50% cancellation fee. Any client
who is a “no-show” will be time for 100% of all
time reserved.
Hours:
Office:
noon to 6pm Monday through Friday. Studio: 7 days, 24 hours
(by appointment only).
Limits
of Liability:
The use of all Moondance Recording Studio equipment and facilities
shall be undertaken at the clients’ sole risk. Moondance
shall not be liable for any injuries or personal property loss,
claims or damages of whatever type or nature and client shall
indemnify Moondance therefor. Moondance is not liable for any
consequential damages resulting from equipment failure, rented
or otherwise, such as compensation payable by the client to
personnel during any delay. Moondance shall under no circumstances
be liable for or assume responsibility for any loss or damage
to musical instruments, any related musical equipment, recorded
tapes, or personal property of client. Client's tapes will be
the client's sole risk. It is the client’s responsibility
to obtain insurance against these risks. Moondance
reserves the right to make any changes in policy in its sole
discretion at any time, without prior notice.

will be subject to engineer and studio availability and consistent
with the current policies and rates.

L1-Ultramaximizer combines lookahead peak limiting with advanced
requantization. This gives maximum level and highest resolution
for all audio applications, from CD mastering to multimedia. L1
can be used as a mono or stereo limiter, with or without IDR processing,
as well as the 'original' L1. TDM users can place the L1 limiter
on a vocal track, for instance. You can also place the IDR plug-in
